After the speech by Royal Marine Sergeant Jason Layton, Military Cross, President George Brewin is presented a 42 Commando Shield.

Also present was the Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire Mr Freddie Grounds.

Shipmate of the Year was Chairman Bill Barry

The generosity of those attending the function enabled a donation of £1,000 to be sent to the Royal Naval Benevolent Trust
